Production Policy
SOFI – Production Policy
Effective Date: Immediately
Applies To: All Fabric Printing & Production Services
Business Type: B2B Only
1. Scope of Service
SOFI provides production-ready digital fabric printing services exclusively for apparel brands, manufacturers, and businesses producing goods for resale.
All fabric printing services are custom, made-to-order, and produced based on customer-approved specifications.
SOFI does not operate as a retail fabric store and does not support consumer or personal-use orders.
2. Artwork Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for submitting production-ready artwork.
SOFI prints files exactly as approved. Errors in submitted or approved artwork, including but not limited to scale, repeat, alignment, color setup, or resolution, are not grounds for claims, reprints, or credits.
Accepted file formats include TIFF, JPG, PDF, PSD, and AI at 300 DPI unless otherwise approved.
3. Strike-Off Samples & Approvals
Strike-off samples are strongly recommended prior to any production run.
Strike-offs are used to approve:
- Color accuracy
- Print scale
- Print clarity
- Fabric behavior
Once approved, strike-offs become the final reference standard for production and all future reorders.
4. Color Standards & Tolerances
Color is matched to the approved strike-off, not to digital files, screens, Pantone references, or prior vendors’ materials.
Minor color variation within industry-standard tolerances is normal and not considered a defect.
Exact color matching is not guaranteed due to fabric composition, ink interaction, and finishing variables.
5. Inspection & Claims Policy
All goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt and before cutting, washing, sewing, or processing.
Any claims related to shortages, defects, or errors must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.
Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.
6. No Claims After Processing
Once fabric is cut, washed, sewn, dyed, finished, or altered in any way, it is considered fully accepted.
No claims, credits, refunds, or reprints will be issued after processing.
7. Order Modifications & Cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled or modified once:
- A strike-off is approved, or
- Production has begun
All approvals are final.
8. Returns
All printed fabrics are custom-produced and made-to-order.
Returns are not accepted under any circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
If a verified production issue is reported within the claim window, SOFI’s liability is strictly limited to
- Reprinting the affected fabric, or
- Issuing a credit for the affected fabric only
SOFI is not responsible for:
- Garment production costs
- Labor
- Lost sales
- Delays
- Consequential or incidental damages
10. Fabric Performance Disclaimer
Fabric behavior including shrinkage, stretch, drape, hand feel, and performance varies by base and finishing.
Customers are responsible for testing materials for end use prior to full production runs.
SOFI makes no guarantee regarding fabric performance beyond the printed material itself.
11. B2B-Only Policy
SOFI operates on a strictly B2B basis.
Consumer, hobby, personal-use, print-on-demand, or fulfillment-based projects are not supported.
12. Acceptance of Policy
Placing an order, approving a strike-off, submitting a purchase order, or authorizing production constitutes full acceptance of this Production Policy.
Important Production Notice
All printed fabrics must be inspected prior to cutting or use.
Claims must be submitted within seven (7) days of delivery.
Color variation within industry tolerances is normal.
SOFI’s liability is limited to the printed fabric only and does not extend to downstream manufacturing costs.
